Course Timeline
01
Learning Phase
Covers core product design fundamentals from problem discovery to strategy, metrics, and user journeys. Also teaches AI-driven design workflows to research, prototype, and build a real product end-to-end.

Build Phase
Students work independently on their project using the framework built in 2 weeks. Every module's micro-exercise feeds directly into the project. Community stays active with daily prompts. Two live sessions anchor the build phase.

Document + Present
Learn how to craft strong product design case studies with clear storytelling, focusing on insights, decisions, and outcomes rather than process. Wrap up with a live workshop, project presentations, and a portfolio-ready case study backed by real feedback and an AI-driven design workflow.

Advanced Topics
An intensive 5-week Pro program focused on building 2 advanced projects and a full capstone, while mastering case studies, portfolios, and real hiring preparation. Combines live teardowns, AI-driven workflows, advanced topics, and Demo Day exposure to get you portfolio-ready and into the hiring pipeline.
What you build

A feature-level design that improves one specific metric. Built over two weeks using AI-assisted research, designed in Figma or AI tools, prototyped with Cursor or Claude Code. Documented as a portfolio case study and presented to the cohort at Base graduation.
A broader feature with multiple user journeys and entry points. Includes AI-assisted research synthesis, information architecture, 5+ screens across core flows, and a working prototype with one live data connection via a public REST API.
A complete product design: scoped, researched, designed, prototyped, and shipped. Multiple journeys, working browser prototype with live data, full case study write-up, and presented at Demo Day to invited hiring partners. Your most powerful portfolio piece.
